Stephanie Niznik, Beloved Everwood Actress, Dead at 52

Stephanie Niznik, an actress who is best known for her role on Everwood, has died. 

She was 52 years old. 

A cause of death has not been revealed, but it is reported that she passed away unexpectedly in Encino, California on June 23. 

Niznik played the role of Nina Feeney, a neighbor of the Brown family on all four seasons of WB drama Everwood. 

Her character also dated Scott Wolf's Dr. Jake in a storyline for the series. 

She recently returned for the show's 15th-anniversary panel at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour back in 2017. 

Beyond that, she also had appearances on Star Trek: Enterprise, Diagnosis Murder, Dr. Quinn, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, Life is Wild, and Lost. 

Niznik was a native of Bangor, Maine. 

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, brother and sister-law, her niece and nephews, aunt and uncle, and her dogs, Nucleus and Jake.

Stephanie was very active in volunteering for hunger, children, and animal rescue organizations.
