9-1-1: Lone Star Season 1 Episode 4 Recap: Act of God

  • A family is in peril after a tornado hits Austin. Their roof is ripped off and the kids are trapped in the house.
  • Owen goes to his chemo and talks things out with his chemo mate, Wayne, asks him if he told his team about being sick yet or not.
  • Judd and Grace have an argument because he's having a crisis of faith. She tries to get him to come back to church and he offends her.
  • Owen is still hiding his cancer, but Michelle starts to take notice.
  • Michelle is having a hard time thinking about her sister.
  • Mateo almost gets thrown about taking down the flags during the storm and the team have to get him.
  • A car gets stuck between two buildings up in the air. It's a risky rescue but Marjan pulls it off.
  • Marjan and the person they rescue have to jump from the car before it falsl to the ground.
  • A woman calls Grace because her boyfriend is trapped in a gun case after running in there for safety after the tornado started. Grace talks her through figuring out the code and it's sports/football related.
  • The team gets to the father and his kids' house.
  • They test to see if there are signs of life while dealing with the emotional father.
  • Owen goes in because of the instability of the building to save the children.
  • The bulding collapes as Owen is rescuing the kids, and it gets hairy, but he makes it out with the kids.
  • They're reunited with their father, but he collapes. He had internal injuries the entire time, and even though Michelle works on him, he dies.
  • Judd shows up at church to apologize to Grace and promise to do better, and they accept that he may not be fully ready to embrace things yet.
  • TK confronts Owen about finding his medicine. They talk it out and he tells him they'll fight this and beat the cancer.
