Friendly fire usually means people on the same side are killed by mistake during combat.
What does it mean when people on both sides of an active engagement are the deepest friends? We might have a chance to find out in Arrow Season 3 Episode 21, when the League of Assassins targets Nyssa.
Instead of letting her new friend fend for herself, Laurel asks Diggle and Felicity, the three of whom should now form Team Arrow, to protect Nyssa, who has remained in Starling City to train her. How could they know Al Sah-Him might be the one carrying out the assassination?!

It's entirely possible I've got it wrong and Al Sah-Him is there for a completely different mission, such as one that involves holding his most trusted friend, Diggle, at arrow point as we can see in the trailer for the hour.
Does that make it any better? Hardly.
The official synopsis promises Oliver undergoes a rigorous transformation to become the "Al Sah-Him" after whom the episode is named, so it quite possibly makes him a killer. Check out the photo of Felicity crying into Diggle…does that look like a happy face?
The team is looking pretty skimpy at the moment, and despite the new Arrow lair (it's hardly a cave anymore) forming in Palmer Industries, Ray is keeping his distance. He'll come when, and if, he's asked.
