CBS Fall 2025 Premiere Dates: When Will Your Favorites Return?

While other networks are still finding their footing after the strike, CBS is stepping into fall with something increasingly rare: a scripted slate that actually resembles a normal broadcast season.

Anchoring its schedule with 16 returning series and four new ones, CBS is leaning into procedural comfort food and fresh intrigue.

Friday nights get a serious shakeup with Sheriff Country, led by Morena Baccarin, and Boston Blue, starring Donnie Wahlberg and Sonequa Martin-Green. Both shows are poised to bring new energy to familiar beats.

And while the FBI universe was expected to expand with CIA this fall, the Tom Ellis-led spinoff has been pushed to midseason following a behind-the-scenes creative reset.

The show’s new showrunner hasn’t just delayed production — it may reshape the premise entirely, which is still a work in progress as casting remains underway.

In the meantime, CBS has bumped Watson into the fall schedule, giving the modern Sherlock Holmes twist a second season spotlight in CIA’s former time slot.
