Callie Adams Foster is the adopted daughter of Lena and Stef Adams Foster. She and her brother Jude embarked on a long journey toward blending into their new family among the Fosters and continued on to relocating with her sister, Mariana Adams Foster, to Los Angeles where they resided in a communal living space called The Coterie.

Callie is an attorney who had some rocky career moves as she worked beneath a Conservative judge while studying for the bar.

She also worked alongside a defense attorney when that didn't work out and it often led her to clash with her brother-in-law, turned boyfriend, turned fiance Jamie.

Callie departed the Coterie for a job opportunity on the East coast but frequently returns for visits and business reasons.
