Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 3-02-26 promise movement on some storylines… and an old villain randomly reappearing.
Stephanie coming face-to-face with her kidnapper only leaves her and Jeremy stuck together, and we know where that’s likely to lead.
Meanwhile, there’s significant movement on the pod storyline, and at least one Days of Our Lives spoiler clip suggests that EJ is going to be at his creepiest as we get closer to revealing what the heck this is all about.
I Hope There’s a REALLY Good Explanation For This Stephanie Nonsense
The “surprise twist” at the end of Friday’s episode that is also featured in the Days of Our Lives spoiler video for the week of 3-02-26 wasn’t much of a shock, since spoilers have promised Owen Kent’s return for several months.
As a refresher, Owen kidnapped Stephanie once before.
Originally, Owen was hired by EJ to kidnap Stephanie to get revenge and leverage when Victor kidnapped Stefano.
Unfortunately, he became obsessed with Stephanie, convinced he was in love with her, and determined to possess her — and Stephanie’s attempts to use that obsession to trick him so she could escape only made matters worse.
Owen escaped while being transported to prison after his arrest for his crimes against Stephanie, so in one sense, it makes sense that he went after her again.
His obsession wouldn’t have just disappeared, especially if Stephanie was thriving without him and now was about to marry someone else.
Still, it isn’t entirely clear why he’s showing up now, and I’m worried that Days of Our Lives might be recycling old trauma instead of telling a coherent, logical story.
Soap operas, reality shows, serious dramas, and comedies are all part of the TV landscape and we cover them all.

The soap’s track record for mental health issues hasn’t been stellar recently — look at how ridiculously the Bayview scenes are written — and lately, it seems more interested in shock value than twists that make sense.
Hopefully, this is more than a rehashing of the past.
I’m Glad Jeremy’s Innocent, But I’m Going To Need An Explanation Here
After supposedly leaving town, Jeremy was hanging around in a hoodie and had Stephanie’s phone, then randomly showed up to try to rescue her.
It’s obvious where that’s going: Stephanie and Jeremy tied up together can only leave Stephanie torn between him and Alex when she finally gets free of Owen.
Days of Our Lives loves the trope of people falling hard for each other when they get stuck somewhere.
Kidnappings often result in random sexual encounters with fellow captives that the protagonist either actively hated or was trying to avoid for some other reason.
It would be weird if it went that far, considering how bitter Stephanie is toward Jeremy, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the two pretended to be in love to convince Owen that he has no chance with Stephanie.
Of course, that’s a dangerous game, but Salem runs on its own logic, so it might seem like a reasonable idea to the hostages.
In any case, I don’t understand what Jeremy has been up to lately.

How did he get Stephanie’s phone, and why has he been hanging around acting sneaky?
I’d love to believe that there’s a completely innocent explanation for this. As Brady said on Friday, maybe Jeremy was hanging around the Square because he had nothing to do with the kidnapping.
Still, he got her phone somehow and found the warehouse or whatever place she’s being held.
He obviously didn’t kidnap her, so a lot of people are going to have to eat crow later, including Alex and his constant accusations and violence toward Jeremy.
But somebody was writing to Owen on the Dark Web, and that could have been Jeremy.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Days of Our Lives went for some obnoxious twist, like Jeremy having been Owen’s accomplice but uncomfortable once Owen crossed the line into abduction.
Conversely, there might be a twist that completely exonerates Jeremy. The most logical is that his past crimes forced him into confidential informant work and he was keeping tabs on Owen — but in that case, why did he pop up on his own after the kidnapping instead of telling his handlers where Stephanie was being held?
Sadly, it will likely be a few weeks at minimum before we have any answers.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 3-02-26 say that Stephanie and Jeremy will still be held captive by the end of the week, so the soap is probably going to milk this abduction story for all that it’s worth.
As a side note, it’s ridiculous that it hasn’t occurred to the cops that maybe Jeremy disappearing shortly after Stephanie did meant he was abducted too, but Jada has tunnel vision and is convinced of Jeremy’s guilt because of flimsy evidence that she keeps calling overwhelming.
Meanwhile, What Is EJ Up To?
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 3-02-26 promise lots of movement on the pod storyline.
I’m annoyed by this story. I’m not a fan of supernatural nonsense, especially when it concerns miracle resurrections or other goofy Rolf experiments that only benefit the most evil of the DiMeras.
The constant insinuations that EJ is being possessed by Stefano or that Rolf is somehow going to resurrect the DiMera patriarch are also getting annoying.
But if we have to have this storyline, we need to get on with it, and it looks like that’s happening this week.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 3-02-26 have Paulina becoming determined to find out what EJ is up to, while EJ and Gwen pay a visit to the mysterious pod and cackle about their plans.
Many fans have speculated for months that EJ is resurrecting Lexie, Abe’s first wife and Theo’s mother, and there have been several mentions of her.
Plus, Abe and EJ are working together to keep Theo away from the DiMera CEO position and Johnny in it, and Lexie would surely have something to say about that if she magically came back to life.
However, I’m not sure why Gwen would be excited about Lexie being resurrected. Lexie had nothing to do with her — they never even met.
The other possibility is that EJ is resurrecting Abigail, though I’m not quite sure why that would turn the world upside down the way EJ thinks.
And Finally…
There is more movement in the Holly/Tate/Sophia/Rachel storyline but it seems to be more of the adults-talking-to-Holly variety than anything else.
Maggie and Sarah confront Holly about her behavior, and later Brady lectures her and Tate, while Tate asks Ari for help and Sophia tries to manipulate Melinda into doing her bidding.
