Elementary fans will soon receive a major clue about Dr. Joan Watson and her past: the CBS drama has cast this famous character’s mother!
According to TV Line, Freda Foh Shen (Franklin & Bash, Private Practice) will appear on the December 13 episode as Mary Watson, a parent who has not always been very supportive of her daughter’s decision to become a sober companion.
Look for Mrs. Watson to meet Sherlock, executive producer Rob Doherty, teases.
Elementary airs a new episode tomorrow night and received a full season order from CBS earlier this week.
