The doctors of GSM are vieing for a new position at the hospital. Will Tom be joining the rest of them in this competition, or are will we just have him around for a short while? If they succeed here, will Amelia be in a better position to win it?
Amelia is in a good place right now. She's clean and sober. She's tumor-free. She has found her way back to Owen. She's taken a teen addict under her wing, and she's flourishing at work. What's going to happen when she finds out about Teddy's pregnancy?!
Can we all agree that Owen is probably blowing his entire paycheck on OshKosh B'Gosh and Baby Gap? Little Leo is already a fashion icon, and he can't even talk yet. He's also a hit among everyone at the hospital. Meredith is tickled to death. Somebody tell Owen that he's going to need to start buying double.
Meredith's patient is bracing herself for the verdict on her condition. She looks concerned. Is the news bad? Let's hope not. Fingers crossed we'll make it through this two-hour premiere without a death that hits us in the feels.
This looks like another one of those awkward elevator rides where Teddy ends up in the elevator with the people she's trying to avoid the most. Right now, those people happen to be Owen and Amelia. How long does she think she can avoid talking to either of them? She has less than 9 months.
Miranda has plenty of time to relax and pursue other passions while she's taking a break from running the hospital. She's a woman with many interests, and hopefully, this season we'll get to see her explore many of them.
Amelia and Tom are still dedicated to their project. After their experience with Kimmie and some of the other issues that popped up last season, they want to see this project through to the end. It's imperative that it's a success.
Meredith: DeLuca, what are you doing here? DeLuca: Whatever you want. Dr. Grey. Jackson: Morning. Meredith: Jackson, what? No. You're with Maggie. Jackson: Yeah but it's just a dream so it doesn't count.
