While Scott and Stiles' help usually ends up being, well, helpful, sometimes they miss the mark completely. This would definitely be one of those times, but when the supernatural activity is down, they have to find something to do. Unfortunately for the Sheriff, Scott and Stiles always find something slightly dangerous to do.
Sheriff: What in the hell were you two thinking? Scott: We were just trying to help. Sheriff: Why don't you try and help me understand what the hell happened here? Stiles: Yeah, well, we were trying to gently persuade him to pull over.
