Gary Basaraba has landed a role on Blue Bloods.
The veteran actor will guest star on this CBS drama as Frank’s former partner, Jimmy, the man who once saved Tom Selleck character’s life. Basaraba appeared as a police officer on both Steven Bochco’s Brooklyn South and NBC’s short-lived Boomtown.
As TV Guide reports, Jimmy will approach Frank for a favor on an upcoming episode – but tension will arise between this pair when the latter suspects the former of some crooked behavior.
Basaraba has also guest-starred on Judging Amy, Cold Case and Nip/Tuck.
