-A killer named Curt Stoner, whose hands were destroyed by Jack McGarrett during a foiled bank robbery, is released from prison and begins murdering the cops who put him away.
-Curt attempts to shoot Steve McGarrett, to get revenge for Steve’s father’s role in destroying Curt’s hands–but Kono shoots Curt dead before he can hit Steve.
