I don't know, guys, I think Molly and Riggs make a pretty good team.
The childhood friends jumped into the deep end of the dating pool on Lethal Weapon Season 2 Episode 9 and it may be the best thing Riggs has ever done.
Who doesn't want to see Riggs happy? I mean really happy?
It was clear since Molly arrived in Los Angeles that Riggs was smitten with her — something that seemed to have developed back when they were kids.
They've been dancing around each other, but Molly decided to take a chance and kissed an unsuspecting Riggs. How could she not see that Martin had a huge crush on her?
I bet that she's always known he's had a crush on her, and Riggs following her around like a puppy dog was more than she could handle.
Part of me wants to believe she might be taking advantage of the situation because Jake isn't around. After all, she chose Jake over Martin in their youth. The other part of me wants to believe she's always had romantic feelings for Martin but somehow never got the chance to explore it further.
Sometimes fate steps in and opens doors we would never have expected.
For Riggs and Molly, the door was opened and all they had to do was step through it.
It was funny (and cute) that Martin created a list of why he and Molly shouldn't date. What was even better was when she had a list of her own that she created on the spot.
But she knows him so well. She knew he was afraid of ruining their friendship, and it was a valid fear.
They've been friends for so long, it's understandable that he wouldn't want to risk it for romance.
We know Riggs had a difficult childhood, and it was his friends who helped him survive the worst of it. If things don't work out between him and Molly, will their friendship survive?
Good friendships run deep and can survive anything. If their romance fails, I have no doubt their friendship will survive.
It might be awkward at first, but they would be able to move past it. It's not an issue they have to worry about right now.
Now, they are having a ton of fun together. And they're a lot of fun to watch, too!
Molly is a lot like Palmer in her sense of adventure. How fun was it when she took over driving the double-decker bus? Did anyone notice her cowboy boots? If that isn't a match made in heaven!
There are lots of similarities in personality between Palmer and Molly, but there seems to be something extra special about Molly. They fit much better together, even better than my desired 'ship of Riggs and Cahill.
This was the first time I didn't feel or see the connection between Cahill and Riggs. His head was so wrapped up around Molly that whatever chemistry was there between Cahill and Riggs previously was absent this hour.
16 Relationships That Won Our Hearts
There was also an interesting "triangle" present when Cahill, Molly, and Martin were at the station together. At first, I thought Molly was going to get in Cahill's face because that just seems like something she would do, but I'm glad it didn't happen.
My favorite part was Cahill telling Riggs she liked Molly. Riggs getting Cahill's stamp of approval helped him move forward. Had she not been there, he might have stalled the inevitable even more.
I'll be surprised if Molly and Riggs last more than a few episodes, though. Eventually, something is going to happen to put an end to all the fun, but seeing Riggs as happy as he is now heartwarming, even if the writing is on the wall.
The Murtaughs had a rather dull storyline with Trish and Roger trying to get their baby girl, Harper, accepted into an exclusive preschool. A school that doesn't allow their families to watch television should be shut down immediately, don't you think? Are there really schools like that?
I understand that Trish and Roger want the best for their daughter, but that school doesn't seem like a good fit for their family. They're not pretentious, so why would they want to be part of a school family that oozed pretentiousness?
