While there’s always going to be someone out there that doesn’t like a TV relationship, there are those rare couples that essentially everyone who watches the show loves.
A mutual love of a pairing within a fandom could be for a variety of reasons. Sometimes there’s just no competition, and other times the relationship is just that awesome.

Although it’s impossible for everyone to agree completely, we put together a list of ships that are universally loved by the majority of the fanbase.
Elena and Syd – One Day At a Time
Elena and Syd are one of the cutest and purest couples a sitcom has ever created. Not to mention how important they are and everything they represent.
Schmidt and Cece – New Girl
Schmidt and Cece were meant to be from the very first episode. It’s hard for anyone to watch their scenes without a smile on their face.
Jake and Amy – Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Jake and Amy are one of the healthiest relationships on TV (if not the healthiest) and everyone can see it. If you don’t hardcore ship it, you have to at least appreciate it for what it is.
Cheryl and Toni – Riverdale
Whether you ship Bughead, Barchie, or Veggie, almost everyone in the Riverdale fandom has a love and appreciation for Cheryl and Toni’s romance.
Jim and Pam – The Office
Jim and Pam are the world’s favorite couple. Literally. If you don’t ship them you’re probably from another planet.
Jonah and Amy – Superstore
If you love Superstore than you automatically love Jonah and Amy. They’ve always been the heart and soul of the show and it’s nearly impossible to be invested in the series without also being invested in Jonah and Amy’s relationship.
Chandler and Monica – Friends
No matter who you shipped with Rachel, there’s no doubt who you shipped with Monica. Monica and Chandler were the epic romance of Friends and no other couple could even compare.
Glenn and Maggie – The Walking Dead
Glenn and Maggie deserved so much better than the fate they got. They were the real OTP of The Walking Dead and always offered a shoulder for everyone to cry on. Audience included.
Scott and Allison – Teen Wolf
Even if you shipped Scott with Kira or Malia, you most likely shipped him with Allison too. If it wasn’t for Allison’s tragic death, there’s no question that these two would have found their way back to each other.
Thea and Roy – Arrow
There are quite a few notable ships on Arrow, Olicity being one of them, but Thea and Roy’s romance has always been able to add to the show, rather than overtake it.
Karolina and Nico – Marvel’s Runaways
In a world with crazy parents and people who could literally destroy the Earth if they felt like it, Karolina and Nico managed to find each other. How could you not root for them?
Tyrone and Tandy – Cloak and Dagger
Friends to lovers? We’re there. Even though they haven’t realized that they’re soulmates, the audience certainly has.
Klaus and Dave – The Umbrella Academy
Klaus deserves the world and everyone knows it. Although his romance with Dave was short-lived, it was beautiful.
April and Jackson – Grey’s Anatomy
Despite the fact that Jackson is currently dating Maggie, most viewers aren’t a fan of their relationship. Everyone is still hoping for April to return to the show so she and Jackson can have the endgame they deserve.
Lucifer and Chloe – Lucifer
Who doesn’t love a good slow burn? Lucifer and Chloe are worth the wait, and it’s nearly impossible to watch seasons of the show without simultaneously rooting for these two to get together.
Kat and Adena – The Bold Type
Jane and Sutton both had their own love triangles going on that could easily divide the fan base. But despite Adena wanting Kat to explore her sexuality, it’s always been clear to both them and the audience that they belong together. We have faith that no matter what happens, they’ll find their way back to each other.
Snow and Charming – Once Upon a Time
Snow and Charming are the literal definition of true love. They found each other time and time again and proved that there is no curse that could keep them apart.
Magnus and Alec – Shadowhunters
Magnus and Alec are like the parents of the Shadowhunters fandom. They’re the daily dose of nutrients that you can’t live without. Seriously, we feel malnourished if they don’t get an adequate amount of screentime per week. No matter what else may be going on, almost everyone in the fandom can agree that they belong together.
Kurt and Blaine – Glee
Kurt and Blaine mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Glee started airing back before gay marriage was even legal, and their relationship is iconic for teens who were growing up at the time. Even if you don’t ship them, there’s no arguing just how important they are.
Ben, Ryn, and Maddie – Siren
This one may be cheating, but odds are that you like at least two out of the three together if not all of them. There’s not much room for ship wars when they’re in one big love circle.
Lindy and Tommy – Eye Candy
Everyone can agree that the worst part of Eye Candy being canceled, was missing out on Lindy and Tommy’s relationship potential.
Ruby and Stan – Good Girls
Stan is the best and most pure character on Good Girls. His relationship with Ruby is understandably a bit strained due to the series of crimes she committed, but even as a cop, he has stood by her through thick and thin. How could you not ship them?
Marshall and Lily – How I Met Your Mother
Is there anyone in existence who questioned whether or not these two belonged together? From day one of the series, Lily and Marshall never had eyes for anyone but each other.
