We’re growing ever closer to the return of Heroes in Heroes Reborn, and NBC has given us more to chew on with character posters bursting with little nuggets of information.
By giving each character tag lines, we can try to guess what it is they’re going to be about, whether vengeance, saving people or urging others to embrace their abilities.
Many of the characters come with only a first name, but in leaking the last name of two of the characters, we can make a leap and link a couple of them together, perhaps sharing a united goal.

Zachary Levi as Luke Collins – Heroes Reborn
“Avenge what you lost,” accompanies the poster for Luke Collins. Will he be against the heroes, perhaps having lost someone he loved to someone with powers the first go around?
Gatlin Green as Emily – Heroes Reborn
Emily has a schoolgirl feel to her, with her jacket, which resembles a letter jacket. “Defend what is right,” is her saying. She’ll have to be a good girl, right?
Jack Coleman as HRG – Heroes Reborn
We all know HRG! His saying is “Defend what you know.” What does he know? After the first round of Heroes, that could be anything.
Danika Yarosh as Malina – Heroes Reborn
Malina wants to “Save who you can.” That seems like a noble premise, and she appears to have powers allowing her to throw little fireballs.
Francesca Eastwood as Molly – Heroes Reborn
Molly has that Poison Ivy vibe about her and her saying, “Sacrifice what you must,” makes us think she may be skirting the brink of good and bad depending upon the circurmstance.
Judith Shekoni as Joanne Collins – Heroes Reborn
Joanne Collins shares a name and a similar outfit with Luke Collins. She also toting a gun much like him. Her saying is “Hunt what you hate.” Could they be married, having lost a child to powers. Vengeance and hatred go hand in hand.
Robbie Kay as Tommy – Heroes Reborn
Tommy wants to “Unleash what you are.” It looks like he can create some sort of force field, but from his saying, it doesn’t appear he’s going to keep it a secret.
Kiki Sukezane as Miko – Heroes Reborn
Miko is going to “Protect who you love.” It’s unclear if she has any powers, but she can obviously wield a sword and has protection on her mind.
Rya Kihlstedt as Erica – Heroes Reborn
Erica’s tag line it to “Take what you want.” That’s not the line of a good girl. We can expect her to be one of the bad guys. Will they all be walking the line to some degree?
Henry Zebrowski as Quentin Frady – Heroes Reborn
Quentin Frady, one of the few characters to get both first and last names, intends to “Expose what they did.” That will likely land him in a whole lot of hot water.
Ryan Guzman as Carlos – Heroes Reborn
We’ve seen in the trailer that Carlos is also a teacher, so his tagline being “Embrace who you are,” makes perfect sense. There should be a caveat, however, to embrace only the good in yourself and not the bad. Just sayin’.
