Gbenga Akinnagbe is entering the halls of All Saints Hospital this season on Nurse Jackie, and he won’t make life easy for the show’s title character.
Portraying a charismatic nurse named Kelly, executive producer Liz Brixius tells TV Guide the new staff member will immediately impress those around him with his stories of working in Haiti.
“This is a guy that she’s not going to be able to win over. He’s not just going to fall in line,” says Brixius, who then teases that we’ll learn more about Kelly:
“He’s not what he seems.”
