Reese and Finch receive a number of a former card shark, Lou, who is helping an Atlantic City boss launder money.
Lou helps take down the casino and win back a ton of money.
Leon, Finch, Reese, and Lou are captured, but the casino boss is defeated and then arrested.
Bill Szymanski is set up by HR, who is set to testify against Peter Yogorov, a Russian mob member.
HR is still trying to rebuild and alliance with the Russian mob.
Carter is able to reveal that Szymanski is set up.
The head of HR kills Szymanski and his attorney before having Raymond Terney shot him in the arm and make up a story about what happened.
