Riverdale Season 3 Quotes
Penelope: Hellcaster, care to take a stab?
Jughead: Sure. Arthur Conan Doyle famously said, “Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.” In which case, whoever is underneath that mask must have had a connection to Hal, and to you Penelope. But it’s not Jason because he’s dead, even though his corpse is missing. The one corpse that hasn’t been accounted for and who was last seen by The Black Hood ... Chic.
[The Gargoyle King removes the mask to reveal Chic]
Jughead: We won. Didn’t we? We survived the night. We proved that we’re better than this town.
Penelope: That may or may not be true, but kill them. Kill them all!
[The Gargoyles chase after the group as they run away]
Edgar: The Ascension is upon us. Tonight.
Alice: The Ascension? Tonight?
Edgar: Yes, preparations are being made.
Alice: I need to find Betty. Have you seen her?
Evelyn: She escaped ... with Toni Topaz.
Edgar: She was never a believer like you, Alice. So, we will ascend without her.
Kevin: They left me. I wanted to go, but they said that somebody had to stay behind to explain what happened.
Archie: And what did happen?
Kevin: The worthy ascended, of course.
Betty: Who did? Where’s my mom and Polly?
Kevin: Gone. Everyone is, and we’ll never see them again.
Mary: So, you and Veronica are quite the dynamic duo. Are you?
Archie: I don’t know. Sometimes it feels like we’re going to get back together, but then...
Mary: Personally, I think you’re endgame.
Mary: Oh yeah, but it doesn’t really matter what I think. Maybe you should ask her what she thinks?
Hiram: My own daughter. Working with the Feds.
[Hiram stands up]
Hiram: And for what? An ex-boyfriend?
Veronica: No, I did this for me, Daddy. I found out you lied; that you still held the deeds to Pop’s and La Bonne Nuit, and it made me very, very angry.
Hiram: Consider it a lesson learned, Miha.
Veronica: Regardless, all of your assets are being seized by the government as we speak. Your precious empire will be put up for public auction. In the meantime, I’ll leave you with this parting thought ... I won.
I am not a part of you. You are a part of me. I am the real Elizabeth Cooper. You are the illusion.Dark Betty
Betty: Cheryl, The Farm is a front. Kevin ... Fangs ... Edgar took their kidneys. There’s a refrigerator filled to the brim with human organs. The Farm is an organ farm!
Cheryl: Are you trying to get shipped off to Shutter Island, you lunatic?
[Betty opens the cooler to reveal an organ]
Cheryl: Oh my God! Is that?
Betty: Yes! Cheryl, what if this is why he keeps adopting kids? For his human chop shop. Based on the price list in the infirmary, it’s lucrative as hell.
Betty: It was a setup, Jug. The Gospel that we found, the proclamation ... it was all to get me alone with my dad again.
Jughead: I can’t believe none of us saw it coming: the return of The Black Hood. Now we have two serial killers running around.
Betty: Possibly working together.
FP: And both of them outsmarting us.
Jughead: There’s a lot of mythical stuff in this Gospel, Betty. The gargoyles were thought to be evil spirits that lived in the clouds, preying on people. So, The Gryphon Queen turned them into stone, they fell from the kingdom and shattered when they hit the earth.
Betty: Jug, all this lore builds up The Gargoyle King to be some kind of supernatural creature, but this guy is just a serial killer. Just like my dad. The Black Hood was flesh and blood, and so is The Gargoyle King.
[Betty gets up from her seat]
Betty: Which means ... that he can die.
[Betty removes Hal’s photo from the evidence wall]
Archie: Let me guess, you don’t want me to box?
Mary: [Laughs] I didn’t even want you to play football, and boxing is so much more ... brutal.
Archie: I’m behind on everything else, but I’m good at boxing. I was actually thinking about going pro.
Mary: Going pro?! Look Archie, I know you’ve been dealing with a lot lately...
Mary: But I won’t support you getting pummeled.
Toni: I’m sorry you won’t get to be prom queen, babe. I know how important it was to you.
Cheryl: It’s okay, Ti Ti. Edgar gave me something better than a queenship: humility.
Toni: You can’t mean that.
Cheryl: No, you’re right. I can’t and I don’t, and suddenly being a “Farmie” is making a lot less sense to me.
