Andrew: Good, good, very good.
Jacqueline: Ian took it. I'd forgotten how talented he is.
Andrew: Well, he has, like, the perfect subject.
Jacqueline: Thank you, Andrew.
Ava: Can I get a gin martini, please?
Kat: Yeah. Straight?
Ava: Dirty.
Kat: Interesting.
Ava: You think I don't have taste?
Kat: Oh, you read minds now?
Ava. Sometimes.
Kat: Hmmm, really? Well, that is impressive -- a telepathic, NRA card-carrying, republican.
Ava: Not as impressive as a feminist, socialist, activist, who finally knows how to make a good drink.
Sutton: There was a minute there where I didn't know if it was gonna happen, you know, watching Kat and Jane rise through the ranks, and I just felt like I was idling.
Jacqueline: You were an assistant longer than you wanted to be, but you were never idling. You were preparing for your moment so that when the time was right, you would soar. Everyone has their own timeline.
Sutton: Yeah, we do, don't we?
Sutton: It’s a baby book with baseballs. We’re not gonna find out the sex for a while, you know.
Richard: I know, I know, but boy, girl, nonbinary, they will be required to love the Yankees.

Jacqueline: What is all of this?
Ian: I do see you Jacqueline as sexy and exciting and the love of my life, but see I’m not a writer, I don’t have the words to explain how I see you not in the way that Miles does.
Jacqueline: Ian.
Ian: But I am a photographer, and I want to show you what I see when I look at you because you are everything to me.
Jacqueline: Well, for someone whose, not a wordsmith, that was pretty good.
Kat: It’s nothing.
Penny: No, you are helping to make a woman who is reinventing her life and herself feel confident again. That’s not nothing Kat, that’s actually everything.
Sutton: Yeah, that’s crazy. No, I know it’s crazy, it is, but I have to do it because, um, because I don’t feel anything.
Jane: What do you mean?
Sutton: I just keep waiting for this tidal wave of emotions to hit me, and I’m not angry or mad or sad or any of the things that you’re to be about a miscarriage I just feel numb, and I really don’t want to feel numb, so I’m gonna go dress this little boy and then you know maybe then.
Kat: You’ll feel something?
Ava: Should be a great talk.
Kat: Yeah, I agree.
Ava: Ever since I read Rachel Carson's "The Sea Around Us," I've been interested in the deep ocean. What about you, Kat? Ava, but I think you knew that since you got my father fired from his own company after 25 years.
Kat: Who are you, a Buddha in republican clothing?
Ava: I'm a woman who loves this country, and that's not very popular to say right now in certain circles. But, if we're ever gonna heal as a nation, what we need is meaningful discourse. Also, your bloody mary needs work. I'm gonna be here a lot so you might want to perfect that.

Kat: Wait.
Jane: Are you serious?
Kat: Yes, she is. You're not.
Jane: Are you pregnant? Oh my god, wait, is this a good thing?

Kat: We're gonna have a baby.
