Sam Bishop's working his way through all the single girls in the area. Can't you just smell the desperation from here?

Rita

So you're Jacob's long-lost sister. Oh, you thought it was a secret. Those don't exist in Port Haven. At least they don't exist for me.

Thomas

Elliot: Why does this keep happening to us? You used another member of my family!
Kat: No, you have been a very willing part of this, OK? Even when I tried to keep you out of it, you came to me. You remember that.
Elliot: Don't you see what bringing Susana in on this will do to her? I can say from experience it will literally ruin her life, Kat!
Kat: Just stop! You hide behind your talk of rules and the pond having its reason, but you have never lived it, so don't you dare judge what you can't understand. I don't know why you were always in such a mood on Founder's Day, but how about you stop taking your family's insecurities out on me?!

I found Thomas Coyle, whoever he is. He arrived on a ship called the Belladonna the first day of harvest, 1814. Tell Jacob I said hi.

Elliot

Kat: Paintbrushes?
Thomas: The pond is yours, my Katherine.

Colton: What's going on, Dellie?
Del: I'm feeling like an imposter again. How can I call myself a Landry when my Landry is gone? And his land might be, too. I feel like I'm letting you down. You would not be proud of me.
Colton: I am proud of you every day. Look at you, what you've done. You've rebuilt our family. You did that. You brought out daughter home and our incredible granddaughter.
Del: She is amazing, isn't she?
Colton: Yes, she is. She reminds me of you. You have everything to be proud of and so much more.

Kat: She keeps going back, doesn’t she? [Elliot nods] Is she gonna see? [he nods again] She’s gonna hate me!
Elliot: No, no. No, you two? You’re going to be just fine.

I may not have found a brother this time, but I think I might have found a sister.

Kat

Alice: I just saw the proposal in 2001.
Elliot: Yeah, I figured. Which means, I can give you this. [offers her a photo]
Alice: You’ve had this the whole time?
Elliot: Now you finally have a photo of all your friends from the ‘90s.
Alice: Well, not all of them. You’re not in it.

Alice: I didn’t know you loved mom your whole life.
Elliot: Calm down. [scoffs] It wasn’t my whole life. I don’t see why you think that.
Alice: And you were heartbroken. You asked me if you would feel this way forever. So, do you still feel that way?
Elliot: I’m not torn up like I was, but if you’re asking me if the love is still there, [he nods] I think it always will be.

Jacob wasn’t just alive in 1814. He was there for the birth of this entire town, but he’s nowhere. I mean, he wasn’t even listed as helping build the lighthouse. I mean, what if something really awful is going to happen to Jacob, something that just completely erases him from history? I don’t think that I am strong enough to survive losing him all over again.

Kat

OK, look. I spent years hesitating cause I was scared of what the answer might be, and then it was too late. Take it from me, not knowing the answer sometimes is so much worse. And I can’t believe I’m saying this but you are so close to finding an answer. Could you really live the rest of your life not knowing what happened to Jacob?
