Mark Consuelos Quotes
Hiram: My own daughter. Working with the Feds.
[Hiram stands up]
Hiram: And for what? An ex-boyfriend?
Veronica: No, I did this for me, Daddy. I found out you lied; that you still held the deeds to Pop’s and La Bonne Nuit, and it made me very, very angry.
Hiram: Consider it a lesson learned, Miha.
Veronica: Regardless, all of your assets are being seized by the government as we speak. Your precious empire will be put up for public auction. In the meantime, I’ll leave you with this parting thought ... I won.
Hiram: No, I want you to keep those ... and the gym.
Archie: I appreciate you helping me out this week, Mr. Lodge, but I don’t want to be in your debt,
Hiram: It’s not a debt, Archie. It’s compensation. It’s a way for me to make amends since I was responsible for launching the Red Paladin quest in the first place.
[Hiram pushes the keys]
Hiram: Take the keys. The gym is yours ... no strings attached.
[Moment of silence]
Archie: Thank you, Mr. Lodge.
[Archie takes the keys and leaves]
Hiram: We’ve been locked in battle for some time now, huh?
Archie: I never set out to be your enemy, Mr. Lodge. All I want is to live in Riverdale in peace.
Hiram: Well, I see no reason for us to keep fighting. So, starting tonight I propose a truce. You don’t make a move against me; I don’t make a move against you. A life for a life.
[Hiram extends his hand, Archie shakes it]
[She pulls out her headphones and shuts the laptop]
Hiram: Are those Archie’s case files?
Veronica: He’s not going to be behind bars ever again, Daddy. That’s a promise.
Hiram: Veronica, what do you think you’re doing here?
Veronica: I could ask you the same, Daddy. But I bet my answer is better than yours.
Hiram: Whatever scheme you’ve cooked up ends now.
Veronica: Sorry, Daddykins, this is gonna hurt you more than it’s gonna hurt me.
[Veronica stomps on his foot with her heel, the scene shifts to the bunker]
Jughead: Well played! You’ve impaled the dragon with your concealed weapon.
Veronica: Okay, here’s the deal, you tell your lackeys to back off or else I’ll send these photographs of your drug lab to the authorities faster than you can say “Heisenberg.”
[Hiram looks through the photos]
Hiram: Hmmm, yeah, I doubt these will have much traction with Maneda.
Veronica: I won’t go to Maneda, I’ll go to the FBI. Oh, and also, I want $10,000 a week in perpetuity. That’s right, Daddy, I’m shaking you down.
Veronica: What are you doing here?
Hiram: Warden Norton is a friend and a business associate. He told me about this little game, and he invited me to see it.
Veronica: And you of course have nothing better to do?
Hiram: And as disrespectful as you are being to me, I won’t let you flush your life down the drain for a boy. A criminal. And I think you’ll find that after today, you’ll no longer be allowed to visit Archie Andrews.
Veronica: I get it! Warden Norton is in your pocket. Everyone is in your pocket, except for me and Archie. You won’t keep us apart. For right now, I need to go cheer my boyfriend on a victory. If you’ll excuse me!
Veronica: Are you happy now, Daddy? It all worked out, just like you planned. Archie didn’t play by your rules. He threatened you, so you punished him. You destroyed his life.
Hiram: You think I did all this to hurt Archie, Miha? Because he threatened me? No, it’s because you betrayed me.
[Hiram walks closer]
Hiram: This is your punishment. You chose that boy over blood. My own daughter.
Veronica: You don’t have a daughter anymore.
Veronica: Daddykins, care to comment on the rumors that you’ve been having meetings with Claudius and Penelope Blossom in their barn?
Hiram: Certainly. I’m looking to diversity Lodge Industries holdings by possibly getting into the maple trade.
Veronica: So, it’s not that you enlisted Claudius to impersonate The Black Hood and take pot shots at Mom during the town hall debate?
Hermione: Veronica, have you lost your mind?!
Hiram: Your imagination is getting the better of you.
Veronica: Maybe, maybe not. But, I don’t think any of us in this room can deny that it’s at least possible that you’d put Mom in the crosshairs to pursue some personal political agenda
Jughead: Fangs getting arrested. The riot. The Ghoulies showing up the night of the riot, Penny in tow. None of this just happened.
Hiram: Jughead, I generally have no idea what you’re talking about.
Jughead: You’ve been buying up everything you could, but you couldn’t buy us. So, you paid the Ghoulies and Penny to go to war with the Serpents to finally get rid of us once and for all. How much is this costing you?
Hiram: I’m hanging up now.
Jughead: Because I have a counter offer. Mr. Lodge?
Hiram: I’m listening.
Hermione: What’s all this?
Veronica: It’s ransom money. Not for Archie, I got him back. No, this is from when I turned the tables on Nick and held for ransom instead. His parents gave me a cool million for my trouble.
Hiram: I told you I was handling the St. Clairs.
Veronica: Funny enough, they hadn’t heard boo about Archie’s kidnapping, but I’ll leave that to you to explain to Archie. He’s in the study waiting for you.
Archie: The man who ordered the poutine. I overheard him at the poker game and I think he’s planning something bad. He said you’re getting sloppy and...and that action needs to be taken. I’m telling you, Mr. Lodge, so you can protect yourself in case there’s some kind of coup.
[Hiram turns around slowly]
Hiram: Thank you, Archie. You can go back to the party now. Check on my daughter. I hear she’s having a good time.
[Archie leave and Hiram sits at his desk]
