Shauna: Cops are sexist, especially in towns like this. [sighs] They'd never believe it was just an affair. They'd fall all over themselves trying to make it something else.
Callie: So you lied to be feminist.
Shauna: Actually, the opposite. I did it to protect your dad. He's been through so much. The last thing he needs is everyone knowing that I cheated on him.
