Kai gives Emily her prayer beads before she dies in the ambulance. At the FBI, Gunnarson is upset because Emily is two steps ahead of them when they should be working together. Emily says she doesn’t work with people she can’t trust. 

 

Emily says that someone in the FBI is feeding Dawkins information. Julianne points out that allegations like that could end someone’s career. Emily says her career was over the day Julianne killed Nick’s wife. 

 

The two argue. Emily wants to know why Julianne felt she had to use lethal force with Alice. Gunnarson tells Emily to go home and not prove her psyche evaluations right. Emily punches her in the face and quits. Julianne tells Cal and Crown that the incident with Emily doesn’t leave the office. 

 

Julianne calls someone and asks to meet. 

 

Emily realizes that Kai’s prayer beads contain a memory stick where the files are kept, but getting to them requires a password. 

 

In Europe, Nick is psychologically tortured for the stolen files. He’s drugged, and shown footage from when Emily was abducted, and they through she was dead. Then he starts hallucinating that Alice is there. 

 

Emily tells Cal that Dawkins is after her, and she has the stolen files. Cal says the FBI discovered that Nick was looking into a shipping company in Boston before he was abducted. 

 

At the shipping company, Cal and Emily discover that only one shipment went out the day Nick was abducted, and it went to Berlin, Germany. It was authorized by Jericho.

 

Dawkins calls Emily and tells him he’ll go after her family if she doesn’t turn over the files. She can hear Flynn’s swim meet in the background. Flynn manages to hide until Warren can get to them. Emily sends them both out of town. Cal is watching them from a distance. 

 

Emily makes a phone call and desperately asks for someone’s help. 

 

The FBI thinks they have Dawkins in his hotel room, but he’s already gone. When Emily goes back to the house, she finds a flower that was Dawkins’ boutonniere. 

 

Emily gets in a car with Dawkins. She says she has the files in exchange for NIck’s life. They are heading to Jericho.
