Recap

Following Ruby's death at the hands of Yo-Yo, Team Coulson argues about whether the killing was justified. Coulson ends the angry debate by dispatching Daisy to hand off Robin and her mother and a sedated Carl Creel to their contact Candyman.

Talbot, still a jumbled mess, realizes that he sent coordinates of the lighthouse out, just as an alien spaceship appears overhead.

Coulson inadvertently sends the Lighthouse into a nuclear lockdown. Unfortunately, this does nothing to stop the aliens, who want the gravitonium, as they have teleportation technology.

The invading Marauders prove to be swift and deadly attackers, killing a number of agents and interfering with the electronic equipment in the base. Talbot, taking the opportunity to attempt to fix things, incapacitates Simmons and uses the infusion chamber to absorb the gravitonium.

With his newfound powers, Talbot easily overpowers and literally crushes the Marauders before taking Coulson with him and flying away out of the Lighthouse.

Meanwhile, Daisy has been doing more than just the mission Coulson assigned. The contact also provides her with a piece of the puzzle to hopefully save Coulson's life: John Garrett's Centipede serum, which is only missing one component.

Daisy realizes exactly what it is and goes to dig up her mother's body.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 Episode 19 Quotes

Oh, and due to a technical malfunction, the Lighthouse thinks we’re under nuclear attack, so we may be trapped inside for fifteen years. Ish. [...] I’m sure there’s a way around that, so in the meantime, there’s no reason to panic. The Lighthouse survives the Earth cracking apart, so one flying saucer? Probably no big deal.

Coulson

Piper: That is insane! I mean, it’s a miracle you survived all that with just one scar!
Davis: Yeah.
Piper: You tell everyone that story?
Davis: I don’t think they care!
