Olivia is struggling and wakes up Jordan and Layla to keep her from drinking. Alicia is making hot cakes for Spencer but he refuses them before leaving to work out. He's coping with Billy's death by keeping up his normal routine. Olivia calls her "village," including her sponsor, Nurse Joy, to come over to keep her from drinking. They're taking turns staying with her. Jaymee's doctor moved up her ultrasound because of her lupus. Coop checks with Spencer to see why he didn't come to the meeting. Olivia never contacted him and he blows off Coop. Joy pushes Olivia to dig deeper as to why she wants to drink now. Jabari is slipping at school. Laura admits to Olivia that she's also struggling. Spencer peppers Coach Kenny with questions about the GAU program. Jabari starts beating on a boy who mouthed off at him until Preach intercedes. Olivia and Coop admit that they had missed their friendship with each other. Asher is late for his shift with Olivia so Spencer volunteers to take her to her A.A. meeting. Instead, they stop at a pop-up carnival. Laura eavesdrops on Preach's lecture to Jabari. Olivia and Spencer go on the Ferris wheel. They both commune with Billy in their heads at the top. Layla suggests to Jordan that they make Billy's Jumpin' Jambalaya. Jaymee determines Asher is suffering from PTSD after the bus crash. Olivia decides it's silence that's getting to her. Jordan thanks Layla for being there for him. Spencer puts off having a serious conversation with Olivia until after they're past grieving. Olivia decides to bring back her podcast. Alicia is taking a step back from Spencer. Spencer lashes out at Coach Kenny and gives notice he's entering the transfer portal. Jabari tells Laura about Billy's last moments.
