A woman who looks like Alice but claiming to be Beth appears and Kate figures out that Beth is the result of the multi-verse collapse.
Alice asks for her childhood copy of "Alice in Wonderland" but Sophie doesn't bring it to her until she wants her to divulge Mouse's location.
Mouse kidnaps the sons of the Commissioner and the Mayor and holds them hostage for Alice's return.
The Commissioner refuses to turn on the Bat Signal because he thinks it's too political now that Batwoman is out as a lesbian.
Kate is captured by the Wonderland Gang and also held hostage for Alice's return.
Alice tells Sophie about the events that led her into her psychosis and the emergence of Alice from the mind of Beth.
Beth makes a plan to pretend to be Alice in order to save Kate but Mouse figures out that she isn't Alice and throws her in the trunk of the car he's about to set fire to with Kate and the two other hostages inside.
Alice escapes from the Crows using a length of fishing line she had repaired her book with as a child and then taunts Sophie with her own mental captivity.
Kate manages to rescue everyone before the car explodes and Mouse is injured in the fight and taken into custody after his surgery.
Mary, Luke, and Beth hold a birthday party for Kate in her bar. Suddenly, Beth experiences some sort of terrible pain. Elsewhere, at the same time, Alice has the same pain.
