A pirate ship pulls up alongside another ship and hijacks it. The crew decides to surrender in order to spare lives. However, when the blood-thirsty Captain Ned Low learns they're carrying precious cargo, he has the entire crew killed.

Captain Flint and his crew found themselves stranded last season, with an army of Spanish soldiers standing between them and the legendary gold.

Flint and Silver's crimes were no longer a secret and the crew was out for blood. The Captain managed to think of a solution which would benefit all parties.

While approaching the gold would only get them slaughtered, their best option was to take control of the warship watching over the bay. Naturally, two many men would arise suspicion, so two men were to board first and set this plan in motion.

Flint volunteered to be one of those men leading the charge, in return for a pardon from the crew.

Since this sounded like a plan to escape, Silver volunteered to be the second man. Flint was not pleased, he wanted someone that could fight.

Meanwhile, via flashback we witness Captain Flint's first encounter with both Lord Tomas Hamilton and his wife, Miranda Barlow (his future lover).

Back on Nassau, an irritated Eleanor confronts Captain Vane who took control of the fort, but refuses to attend her important meetings.

Jack Rackham is caught, pounded on and pissed on by a bunch of vengeful pirates. The man has reached his lowest point. Luckily, Anne Bonny remains loyal to him, The duo will soon form some new alliances that will change their status on the island.

Aboard the Spanish ship, Flint and Silver are inevitably captured. The two are offered a deal, the first to speak up will be set free. It didn't take long for Silver to rattle off all their plans apparently in an effort to save his own skin. However, this was all a distraction to facilitate their escape.

It wasn't long before the rest of the crew appeared and took over the ship, letting the black pirate flag fly.

Silver confronts the Captain and tells him he believes the man intends to reclaim his captaincy. "I think you intend to return to that beach, armed to the teeth, and seize every last ounce of gold off of it" Silver says. Flint remains silent, which said enough.

Eleanor and Captain Low have an uncomfortable meeting, thanks to Max who sold information about commerce on Nassau. Though she was clearly intimidated by the man, Eleanor put up a strong front. The pirate made several demands, but she replied by throwing him out of her bar.

Yes, Captain Low is going to be trouble, there's no doubt about that.
