On Blue Bloods Season 10 Episode 7, Jamie and Frank find themselves on opposite sides of an issue even though they agree in principle.

When two cops walk away after a guy throws water on them, Frank is upset that the cops didn't do anything about being attacked. Jamie does too and confronts the water-thrower, throwing water on him before arresting him. But this leads to news coverage suggesting that Jamie acted inappropriately, and Frank feels Jamie brought embarrassment to the department with his behavior and disciplines him.

Frank's staff, along with the Reagans, all take sides, and many of them agree with Jamie, but Frank refuses to budge.

Meanwhile, Erin learns from Jack that a defendant she convicted of murder 5 years ago may be innocent, but Anthony doesn't want to help her investigate because Jack is involved. And when it appears the prisoner may actually be innocent, Erin struggles with her conscience.

Finally, Danny and Baez arrest a delivery man who is beating up elderly people, one of whom dies after the attack. But Erin won't prosecute because the only eyewitness suffers from dementia.

Blue Bloods Season 10 Episode 7 Quotes

Anyone who throws water on police officers, who throw objects at police officers, who impede police officers while they are doing the job are breaking the law. Anyone caught doing this will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I want to be crystal clear about this. I will never ask my officers to tolerate abuse.

Frank

Jack: So how's life as an empty nester?
Erin: Oh, I miss Nicky so much.
Jack: Remember the first time she left us?
Erin: Dance camp. But you didn't call me here to go down memory lane, did you?
