On Blue Bloods Season 9 Episode 20, Eddie saves the life of a baby who is choking on grapes, only to discover that the father has disappeared. Eddie goes to the hospital, where she reluctantly agrees to visit the baby and finds she is the only one who can calm her.

Eddie keeps worrying about the baby and doesn't want her to end up in foster care. Jamie is open to adopting the infant, but Eddie isn't interested because they're both cops and she doesn't want to leave the child orphaned if something happens.

Meanwhile, Danny and Maria catch a robber who beats up people at ATMs, but Danny's rush to get a lineup completed results in the ID being tossed, which he blames Anthony for. He and Anthony both decide to pursue the case -- can they work together?

And Erin finds herself in hot water when the governor calls in a favor and demands she get Frank to support a crime bill that she knows Frank is opposed to. The governor threatens to ruin Erin's reputation if he doesn't get his way, but Frank makes it clear he won't support the bill.
