Chicago Med Season 5 Episode 19 deals with yet more difficult decisions for the hospital staff.

When a 15-year-old boy is brought in after falling off an overpass, Choi suspects a suicide attempt. The kid denies it, however, and the parents--or at least the father--insist he is not suicidal and that a homeless man pushed him. To complicate matters, the cops say that if the kid did jump they are going to arrest him because he caused a car accident that left a woman unconscious.

The woman is in the hospital and is the only witness,so Choi wants to wake her prematurely to find out what she knows, but Marcel refuses. When Choi disregards Marcel's instructions, the two come to blows.

Meanwhile, Will and Asher's patient has placenta previa and brain cancer. If this baby dies she can't have a family to leave to her husband. Asher decides on a risky surgery to try to help her. Currie disapproves but Will overrides her. Currie is sure that Will is letting his feelings for Asher cloud his judgment, but Will tells her she is out of line when she says so.
