Rebecca and Josh are both surprised by their kiss. 

Rebecca describes her life as a princess fairytale, while Paula sees it as a two and a half star romantic comedy. 

Rebecca isn't sure what Josh is thinking after the kiss. 

Josh tells Rebecca how guilty he feels after the kiss, and that he plans on telling Valencia about it despite the fact that she will break up with him after he tells her. 

He also drops the bomb that he's headed to Hawaii.

When Rebecca tries to buy a plane ticket to follow Josh to Hawaii, she discovers that she's broke, and has no money to pay for a flight or accommodations in Hawaii. More importantly, she can't pay her bills. 

When the water case is exposed, the Mayor awards Rebecca with a key to the city, and after that news goes viral, Rebecca's mother reaches out to her to tell her that she's proud of her and that she loves her. And she sends Rebecca the Garfinkel ring, the ring that Rebecca has been waiting to have passed down to her for years. 

Rebecca sells the ring to a pawn shop and buys her ticket to Hawaii. 

Josh is surprised that Valencia doesn't break up with him for kissing Rebecca, but also realizes shortly after that he's really unhappy with his current romantic status.

Heather tells Greg that her sending him to Rebecca was a test, and that he failed. He's going to have to deal with the repercussions of that.

Rebecca gets on her plane to Hawaii after discovering that Josh is not in love with her, and discovers that she'll be sitting next to her therapist for the next 5 hours on the flight.
