Recap

Tyler Green is the guy's name who has been feeding Garcia information.

Elias is scrubbing up not-Hal's blood, and he sees inside of the pool of blood another man's face.

Moose is covered in blood, wearing a wire muzzle inside of a cage. Heart is breaking.

Oh my gosh! It's Silas Weir Mitchell, and he's playing the guy that created the roles that Elias plays by.

Elias fills a syringe with something and sticks it into Moose.

Green's sister Alison was reported missing in 2007. She and her boyfriend have never been seen again. She isn't one of the bodies they've found, but Tara thinks that Elias probably told him he was the killer so that Green would play with him.

Prentiss sends Garcia in to talk with Green. He tells her to get out. He can't believe she handed over the encryption to the FBI. She lays it on the line, but he clams up, so she scoots out angrily.

JJ and Will are having breakfast. Her mom has the kids, so they're getting to have some time together, and she loves it.

They're kissing passionately when someone knocks on her door. When she answers, he asks for Mrs. LaMontagne, and she corrects him. Jareau. He's there for an updated insurance policy.

Prentiss is oddly pleased that Rossi slept at the office instead of a hotel.

They chat about Green and Elias, and Rossi wonders if Elias set up Green to walk right into an ambush. The two remaining kill kits are eating at him.

In Miami, a couple is on a vacation two years in the making. Tish turns off her phone, but her husband David's phone keeps dinging because of house alarms. There is a man in their house, and he's speaking directly to them, Mr. and Mrs. Crawford.

Two men have a security guard in their living room, and they kill him on camera.

Garcia does some digging into Green. Alvez enters, and she shares that Green's last moments with his sister are hazy, so maybe Sicarius was there.

Sadism sadism sadism. Tara loves that word! When they break up, Garcia and Alvez take an idea to Prentiss. Garcia's idea is to give Green back his memories via cognitive interview.

Garcia takes her idea to Green. He knows what a cognitive interview is, which leads Garcia to tell him she doesn't like him, even if she has respect for his skills and compassion about what he's going through. She lays into him with all of those thoughts and says that's the first honest thing she's said to him, so he'll do it.

JJ and Will touch base, and she tells him that he makes her feel safe in her home. He says if one of them is the protector of the house, it's her. She says they have each other's backs, always.

I'm getting a bad feeling about their happiness.

The two clowns are on the move again. One is in a van walking the other through what to do, which includes sticking a router to the side of the house. He heads to the porch and inside the back door. This is the creepiest thing ever.

They are Mr. and Mrs. Murray, and they're not leaving town after all.

Alvez walks Green through the cognitive interview, and he's really immersed in it. He tries to remember Lee's face. Alison told Tyler she really needed him to be there that night. But instead of going, he decided to hang with some friends instead.

This is a super well-done segment. Green knows Lee was Sicarius. But Green did hear from Elias himself that he did it, and he wondered how badly Alison's brother managed to fuck up his life.

Two security guards arrive at the Murray house. They're grumbling that everyone is on edge, but they think this is a cakewalk.

One of them clears the west perimeter, but Calvin doesn't respond. He's don in the yard with one of the clowns looming over him. His buddy is behind him. He decides not to shoot, and it's going to be the worst decision of his life.

JJ and Tara arrive to a full SWAT team ready to breach. Garcia is remote backup. They find the saferoom with a recording of the clowns pretending they're inside. The guards are dead.

Tara knows how they're disguising their faces. As they talk, she, JJ, and Rossi realize they're doing a performance, likely suffering a similar experience in their past, punishing homeowners instead of those they really hate.

One of the brothers' wonders if the other is sure, and the other says he needs him. So, there's no going back.

This time, they break into a home that has a woman sleeping inside. She's got quite the security room going.

They find the story, and when their father refuses to open the safe room, their mom's throat was slit. They are Gale and Jude Bernau, and their father is Campbell. APBs go out, but Danielle is already in the middle of the room on her knees. Cameron is at work, and he asks his receptionist to call 9-1-1. What if he hung up on them? Would they be as excited if dad just hung up?

JJ and Tara arrive with a bevy of state troopers set to infiltrate. Rossi is with Bernau, and he wants Campbell to stay on the phone. Garcia turns off the security system and Tara and JJ head in. Gale is shot, but Jude still holds the knife. He puts it against his own throat but ultimately tosses the knife to the ground.

Rossi interrogates him. It doesn't appear that Jude has any idea that Gale was working with Sicarius. He says they never wanted to get caught. They just wanted dad to know what they'd done. He wishes he had sliced the bitches throat himself.

No kill kit. No connection. Alvez goes in with Green again. Green has figured out how to preserve his communications with him. He wants to leave Penelope Garcia out of this. He'll talk to anyone else but not her.

When JJ gets home, Will is drinking. She wonders if everything is OK. Will went in for a physical, and his platelet count was over 400. Then he got an LBH test. Normal results are under 40 units. His was much higher. More tests are on the horizon. The bottom line is it could be cancer.

You don't need a kill kit to be killed.
