The events take place on August 15th, 1993 - 1995.

In 1993, Jeanette and Derek are making breakfast to celebrate Cindy and Greg's anniversary. In 1994, the kids hear Greg and Cindy arguing about the Jeanette rumor and calls. Angela sends Greg a thank you gift for finding her new home.

In 1995, Jeanette is watching a tape of her family playing cards together. Jeanette thinks if she stayed a nerdy nobody her father would love her again.

Jeanette's lawyer arrives to discuss a problem.

In 1993, Vince tries to convince the others to watch Jason Goes To Hell. Jeanette is worried about the list as Mallory added illegal items, like shoplifting. In 1995, the lawyer warns Jeanette that a Tanya has damning evidence about her; Jeanette thinks she can silence Tanya.

In 1993, Jeanette sees Tanya (Tennille's mom) do a fitting for Martin. Tanya asks Martin out for dinner. In 1994, Tennille tells her mother to make sure Jeanette stops calling their house.

In 1993, Vince sets off a storm alarm by stealing a CD. Jeanette takes the CD so that he and Mallory can run away. While in the security holding, Jeanette meets Jamie for the first time.

In 1994, Cindy gets a prank call that makes fun of Jeanette. While distraught, Cindy goes searching through Jeanette's room and finds a key secretly taped to the bottom of the music box.

Cindy asks Jeanette if she has ever been inside Martin's house. Jeanette denies having any secrets to tell Cindy.

In 1993, Jeanette comes clean to Greg about Vince stealing the CD. He promises not to tell Cindy the truth.

In 1994, Cindy believes that Jeanette is lying. Cindy tells Greg that her mother's intuition makes her believe the key belongs to Martin's house. Greg doesn't believe her, but Cindy wants to check to see if the key works.

In 1995, Vince visits Jeanette and they talk about the past. Vince is willing to be a distraction while Jeanette leaves. She makes her way to the mall to talk to Tanya.

In 1994, Cindy wants to talk with Derek about Jeanette, but he brushes her off and tells her to talk to someone else.

In 1993, Jeanette thinks it was cool to be in mall jail, but she's frustrated that Mallory keeps pushing them to do bad things.

In 1994, Jeanette walks into the video store to find Vince and Ben flirting. Vince initially wants to pretend like Jeanette didn't see anything, but they reluctantly talk after Jeanette points out that Vince looked really happy.

In 1993, Jeanette sneaks back into Martin's house with the key. Before she takes one of the CDs, she's trapped in a room when Tanya and Martin arrive for drinks.

In 1994, Tennille and Renee coldly tell Jeanette to leave her alone when they arrive at the video store. The broadcast of Tanya's report appears on the TV where she claims Martin was forceful with her.

In 1993, Jeanette is in the closet seeing Tanya come on strong against Martin. She lets slip that Tennille's father isn't her real dad. A close call with the music nearly gets her captured.

In 1995, Angela thinks Vince and Jeanette should date. They laugh and brush it off. Greg offers to play cards with them.

In 1994, Derek picks up Jeanette after the terrible encounter with Renee and Tennille. She wishes Derek wasn't going to university.

In 1995, Tanya is being deposed by the lawyers. She claims she believes Jeanette's story about Kate; flashbacks reveal Jeanette blackmailing Tanya about Tennille's paternity. The lawyer calls Jeanette to tell her the update.

Cindy goes to the bar to get a drink and chat with Angela about Jeanette.

In 1994, Cindy tells Greg that she wants to become a flight attendant. In 1995, Cindy and Angela are having drinks; they're talking about their careers and why Cindy went for her career. Cindy says she didn't end her marriage for her career.

In 1994, Cindy wants Greg to use the key to check Martin's house. He is condescending and doubts her; Cindy says she's going to stay at her mother's to think. She's heartbroken that she's alone in her worries.

A flashback shows both Cindy and Greg using the key to unlock Martin's door. Greg is visibly mad that the key worked.
