Today on Days of Our Lives ...

Kayla presses Ava for the reason behind her vendetta so Ava starts talking.

Steve confirms that he told her he was madly in love with her and hesitates when Ava orders him to tell Kayla what he did to her on their wedding day. Steve claims that as he was walking down the aisle, he realized that something was wrong and ran out.

However, he insists he tried to come back to tell her but two of Stefano's thugs grabbed him and took him away. Steve insists that she gave him something to live for when he was at his lowest but it hurt him when he couldn't get the chance to say goodbye to her. He tells Ava he's sorry and she cries as she starts hitting him.

Kate's curious when she hears Daniel tell Chelsea he was concerned about how pale she looked while they were at the Java Cafe together yesterday.

He also notices she doesn't look that healthy today either so Kate decides to take Chelsea home with her. When they arrive at the mansion, Chelsea faints. Having followed them, Daniel calls for an ambulance.

Philip tells Nicole her assignment is to spy on John for him and she accepts but reminds him that John hates her. Philip reveals that John's memory is gone. She enters the Pub alone and quickly saunters up to John and starts flirting with him. She then invites him out on a date. Morgan catches Philip outside and asks him why he's going after John and why he's ruining her father's life at the same time.

Philip denies he's doing either. Paul interrupts and takes his daughter to breakfast.

Inside, Morgan complains when she spots John but her father insists he's a friend. As John accepts Nicole's offer, Philip interrupts and tells them both they deserve each other.
