Mereith practices what she's going to say to Maggie while getting ready for the press conference. She runs things by Alex. She never gets to tell Maggie, but Maggie notices something is up when they are getting all touchy feely during the press conference. 

Maggie sulks and gets passive aggressive with Meredith. She hates that Meredith lied to her, and she says that Meredith is the only person she has left. Meredith apologizes and tells Maggie that she refuses to let a boy come between they. They sort of make up.

Amelia works on the case with Alex's patient Veronica. Veronica finds out that she only has three months to live so she wants her baby to be delivered that day so she can see him. The c-section happens but Veronica takes a turn for the worse. She has her best friend, and baby's father bond with the baby and she stays in the OR and waits to die. Amelia sits with her until she does and she tells Amelia how much she loves her best friend but never told him.

Amelia, upset about the case, seeks comfort from Owen.

Richard, April, Stephanie, and Andrew work on a case with an overly affectionate couple. The woman has a stomach filled with worms. Richard is excited about the case and everyone else is grossed out.

April and Bailey work on trying to reunite Catherine and RIchard. Bailey finally confronts Catherine and Catherine finally apologizes to Richard.
