Marissa takes stock after her battle with Hanna. Carmichael calls to let Marissa know they caught Hanna. The trainees speculate about who the intruder is. Marissa runs her car into a tree to explain her injuries. Sandy figures out it was Hanna who broke in. Carmichael shows Marissa surveillance of Hanna in action. Marissa offers to get through to Hanna. Marissa talks in code to Hanna during a mock interrogation. Mannion, who Marissa had contacted, digs up her phone, with her location, at the crash site. Clara visits Hanna in detention, then takes her on a tour. Clara tells Hanna her name is now Clemency. Hanna finds a hole in the surveillance and they hug. Hanna informs Clara about escaping to Canada but Clara doesn't trust Marissa. Security breaks in but Hanna and Clara are smoking cigarettes. While Sandy distracts the guard, Jules steals booze for her party. It's all an exercise in disobedience set up by Leo. Marissa introduces Carmichael to Hanna. Carmichael invites her to stay. Marissa slips Hanna a note setting up a departure. The recruits are introduced to Hanna, now Mia. Carmichael gives them a pep talk. Marissa plans to escape with Hanna and Clara that night. Hanna is attempting to determine how to get out after curfew. Leo shows Hanna her room. Clara tells Sandy that Hanna wants Clara to leave with her that night. Marissa says goodbye to Hanna at Jules' party. Marissa arranges for power to be shut off at 10. Mannion is waiting for her. The power goes out. Hanna and Clara slip away from the party. Marissa shoots her driver and backs up to the school. Marissa gets caught by Carmichael's guards. Clara betrayed Hanna and Marissa. The trainees try to convince Hanna she belongs there.
