Issa moves into her new apartment as Molly encourages her to get a fresh start by throwing out old stuff. Daniel helps her move in but Molly tries to keep him out of Issa's life.

Meanwhile, Molly is still struggling at work because she wants to be the star and center of attention, but nobody wants to work with her or allow her to shine. At her therapist, she rants about her job and doesn't know what to do.

At We Got Y'all, Issa is allowed back into the field, but she's still very bored. During her lunch break, she meets Nathan, the man who gave her a $100 tip in her "party Lyft." They walk around and Issa shows him some of her favorite spots in town.

Issa calls in the rest of the day sick and they wander around LA. They go back to her childhood home and jump naked into the pool, sharing a moment and sharing a conversation about themselves.

Issa finally quits at We Got Y'all upon Nathan's encouragement to seek out what she wants. Frieda is confused, but Issa si determined to start anew. They also share a tender moment back at her apartment and agree to meet again
