Misty asks Joy and Walker about Davos' whereabouts, but neither refuses to budge. However, Joy tells Misty about the Crane sisters, who performed the ink tattoo ritual on Davos, and Misty and Colleen go to find them, leaving Danny, Joy, and Walker under Ward's supervision.
Walker reveals that she in fact does know where Davos is hiding out but obviously doesn't trust Misty. She also reveals to Danny that she has DID in order to get him to empathize with her, explaining that Walker is her true self, but when she is triggered by sensory items such as running water or flashing lights, she turns into Mary -- her shy, sentimental other identity.
When Mary gets stressed, she turns back into Walker, but Mary doesn't have memories of Walker, only an awareness of Walker's presence.
Danny makes a deal with Walker and hires her to capture Davos, and they leave to Davos' hideout.
Ward and Joy talk, and Joy airs her grievances about Ward not telling her about their father. Ward tells her how much Harold beat him and tried to explain that he was trying to protect her, but Joy says that she still needs time. She tells him that she hurt Danny because she couldn't bring herself to hurt Ward. She leaves, unable to bear any more conversation.
At the tattoo parlor, Misty and Colleen confront the Crane sisters. After a fight, Misty and Colleen learn from them that Davos used a special ritual, mixing the ashes of the burnt Iron Fist skin and Danny's blood into an ink, utilizing special steel tools to create the serpent tattoo.
Davos continues to make his rounds, killing triad members. He goes back to his hideout to find Danny, who attempts to talk him down to no avail. Walker rushes in and tries to sedate him, but he knocks her over with the Iron Fist -- however he pulls out his other fist, which also has Iron Fist abilities and breaks Danny's leg. He then collapses from exhaustion.
Danny gets Walker to call 911, but suddenly, it starts raining and the police come, lights flashing. This triggers Walker to turn into Mary, who is confused by the destruction around her.
Danny screams in an attempt to convince Mary to retrieve Davos, but she doesn't understand, thinking that Walker hurt Danny. She runs off.
