Law & Order: SVU Season 18 Episode 10 revolves around the death of a teenage boy, Trey, when his best friend walks in on him having sex with his mother.

15-year-old Luke shoots Trey in the head, killing him instantly, but claims that he was only trying to scare him because his mother cried rape. The mother tells a believable but confusing story about the encounter, admitting she let Trey in but then saying he attacked her and she was uncomfortable with him in the house.

Later, the detectives' investigation turns up the fact that the so-called victim was sexually assaulting not one, but two friends of her son. The mother keeps insisting that the boys just are having fantasies and that all is normal, and it's not until her ex-husband sheds some light on what she's like that Barba decides to go ahead and prosecute her for rape and murder.

Unfortunately for Barba, Dr. Keller hires Buchanan as her lawyer, but her antics blindside even him and she makes a surprising move in the middle of the case, all while continuing to manipulate her son.
