Law & Order: SVU Season 18 Episode 14 tackles the problem of prosecuting a super rich person for a rape.

When an executive named Zoe White is raped by billionaire Eli Colton, her boss warns her that Eli will be hard to defeat and she should just forget what happened. Zoe is, at first, determined not to forget, and is undeterred when Eli has someone forge an email from her account stating she enjoyed their encounter and circulates suggestive photos of her. However, when she is offered a six figure salary in Brussells in exchange for her silence, she goes for it.

It's hard for the detectives to find anyone who will speak against Eli. His subordinates protect him and his friends don't want to lose the income he is generating for them. The best they can do is nab his coke dealer, but Barba says that's not enough of a case.

Zoe takes the bribe and isn't willing to testify, but the cops have an ace up their sleeve that gets her to change her mind. Meanwhile, Fin awaits the results of the sergeant's exam.
