Eight years ago: 

EZ tells Emily he's going to take a semester off and help his dad. He wishes he paid attention to the license plate of the car that drove away and killed his mom. Emily does her best to comfort him. 

EZ sees a car that has the same Wildcats sticker as the car owned by the person who killed his mom. He tails them. 

Present day: 

Felipe visits Father Rodrigo at his church for confession. He tells Rodrigo that Adelita knows he is the man who betrayed her father. As a way to pay his debt to Rodrigo, Felipe tells him that Adelita is coming for him. 

Rodrigo goes to Nestor and tells him he can help the Galindo cartel flush out Adelita in exchange for protection. 

Riz explains to the Mayans what he uses the tunnel for. He's not using it to make a profit, just to help girls and their families. 

The club decides to take away Riz's secretary office and wants 10 percent of the prostitution ring. Coco and Gilly are upset with Angel for what he did. Riz confronts Angel about ratting him out, but Coco and Gilly claim to have been a part of it. 

Emily's house is being raided by DEA Agents. She is arrested for failure to report child abduction. 

Letty is worried about Coco and tells EZ Vicky never hurt her. EZ visits Coco and sees Vicky's dead body. Coco apologizes to EZ if this brings back bad memories of his mom. He tells EZ he has no regrets about what he did with his mom and sees it as freeing her. 

Letty arrives at Vicky's place, but EZ manages to get her to leave before she sees her mom. 

Linc has Miguel in a comfortable interrogation room. He tries to get him to talk but Miguel refuses to without a lawyer. Linc says he lied about a lawyer being on its way, and tells Miguel Emily is also being questioned. 

Jiminez is told by a fellow agent that Linc may expose EZ's intel if it means getting what he needs from Miguel and Emily. 

Agent Bowen asks Emily about her abortion before Linc shuts him down. Linc tells Emily he doesn't want to take Miguel down. Instead, he wants to form a partnership. 

When Linc tells Miguel about his plan, Miguel denies him outright. When he goes back to Emily's room, he asks her how she ended up where she is and brings up her past. She reminds him if he thinks she'll turn on her husband, he's wrong. 

Jiminez threatens to blow up Linc's operation if he uncovers EZ's role in the operation. Jiminez informs Felipe about what's going on, and Felipe calls EZ. They tell EZ that his deal is in jeopardy. EZ refuses to run away because it'll affect Angel. Instead, he wants to protect his blood. 

Linc gives Emily papers to sign that will be confirmation of Miguel's crimes. He shows her pictures of a dirty, unkept Cristobal. He threatens to take her child away if she doesn't sign the papers. 

Linc shows footage of Emily to Miguel and says if Miguel doesn't sign the papers admitting to his crimes, Emily will be forced to make a huge decision. Miguel signs the papers. 

While reading the papers, Emily comes across a statement from a prospect, realizing EZ is the one who ratted on her husband. 

Alvarez visits the M.C. and tells them everything he's heard about what's going on with Miguel and Emily. The M.C. looks for EZ afterward, but it's just to get him to run an errand. He lets Felipe and Jiminez know that Bishop and the M.C. don't know anything as of right now. 

Angel and Riz settled their dispute in a cage match. 

Emily and Miguel are released. Emily shares her concerns with Miguel that the DEA now owns them. Miguel, however, assures her that he has more people on his side that the DEA doesn't know about. Meanwhile, Linc looks into Jiminez's deal with EZ. 

Angel and EZ are going to take a trip to see Adelita. Coco asks them if they can take his mom's body and bury her on their way there. While hauling her into the car, they break a taillight. 

They get stopped by the cops for the taillight. A new cop sees ropes and shovels in the back of the car and asks them to get out. Frankie tries to stop him, but he searches their car. He finds the dead body in the trunk.
