- the deputy is looking for Albie and mentions he saw the truck. Nicky lies and says that he was in bed. The deputy doesn't buy it but leaves.
- Nicky thinks that they're gone but Albie tells her that they'll be back soon enough with a warrant or something and they have to get to the body first.
- Flashbacks to three months agao.
- Gigi sings Lizzo's Juice and is prepping for the Queen of Country performance. Kayla and Earl bring up the whole competition thing with her and Nicky
- Luke confronts Nicky about the letter.
- She also tells him to stop digging around looking into Dottie's death.
- He contacts the coroner and learns that it couid be an assisted suicide which is illegal there.
- Luke brings Mackenzie to meet Nicky in hopes of negotiating a tour.
- Nicky feels like Mackenzie saw right through her.
- Nicky finds an anniversary gift in their closet and thinks it's for her, but when she reads the card, it isn't. She fluses the earrings down the toilet but then fished them out and donated them.
- Nicky feels like she can't get divorced because it's not good for her brand. She doesn't want to keep up her marriage for images.
- Gigi tries to offer some comfort to Nicky about her marriage and says they can't all be like Albie and dotties or hers and Kaylas. Nicky can't bring herself to say anything about Luke and Kayla,. But she invites Kayla to lunch to talk.
- Albie and Ace eat out together when Catt puts her daughter up to performing to get Albie and Ace's attention. She sings in Spanish.
- Catt gives Albie Ana's headshot and tells him to call them when they want to sign her.
- Nicky confronts Clive and kicks him out.
- Kayla finds out that she's pregnant.
- When Nicky tries to do a toast with Kayla she realizes that she's not drijnking and not eating sushi either which means she's pregnant.
- She asks Kayla to let her handle things.
- Albie agrees to perform at the QUeen of Country seminar but in exchange for Luke finding out who has the rights to their music so they can get it back.
- Gigi gets upset when Nicky wears a pair of Dottie's cowgirl boots. Gigi takes them and says that Dottie had promised them to her.
- Catt confronts Albie about why he didn't contact them.
- Gig has a flashback to when she was a kid tryihng on the boots and Dotttie got upset at her and said she was nothign like her. Gigi throws the boots thinking about it and he heel breaks and reveals a flash drive.
- Gigi check out the flashdrive and it's a song that Dottie sang about the barn. Nicky doesn't want to believe that their father cheated and that she was tryihng to live up to that marraige and it was a lie.
- Nicky talks to Albie about infidelity and he admits that he had an affair 40 years ago.
- Nicky meets up with Imogen, the woman having an affair with Clive.
- Nicky brings Imogen to Queen of Country as her date. She wants to make a statement that lays all the blame on Clive and neither of them.
- Gigi has to pick Albie up when she gets a call that he's on a bender.
- She sings Albie the song that Dottie left in the boot.
- Nicky performs
- Ace is the one who gives Ana the contract to Monarch even though Catt kept thinking he'd be the distrction.
- Mackenzie dangles a possibility to her.
- Wade gives Nicky flowers.
- Luke gets the news that there were high levels of oxy in Dottie's system and when Clive is getting ready to leave he sees the oxy bottle.
- Albie talks to Nicky and blames himself for Dottie's death.
- Three months ahead Albie and Nicky head out to the burial site to dig up the body, but the body is already gone.
