Agent Talia Del Campo returns to NCIS: Los Angeles after her partner is killed in order to take back some stolen information. Kensi and Deeks team up with Talia to talk to Emily, her former partner's wife. As they search for the information they find it in a pair of shoes. Meanwhile, Callen and Sam look into the only thing that Talia's former partner and his shooter have in common: Citadel Behavioral Research, a research facility that tests to see if operatives are prepared mentallly. It is revealed after Callen fails one of their tests that Citadel has given several agents the necessary clearnace in exchange for a favor. If the agent does not comply, his family will be taken out. NCIS prepares a sting operation that is blown by a sniper. Fortunately Hetty is able to apprehend the suspect and bring her in.
