Helen asks Max if he has told everyone that he's leaving yet, and he tells her that he hasn't yet.
Casey spots Helen and Max kissing and tells Iggy who dosn't buy it.
Leyla's fellow residents see her with Lauren and are judging her.
Max offers Dr. Wilder his job but she declines.
No one is running the ICU because it's understaffed.
Max takes over running the ICU himself.
Its haywire when two patients code and there is no staff to help in the ICU. Lauren getes on Max's case for not asking for her help there.
The other residents feel like Leyla is privileged because of all the things Lauren got for her.
Leyla takes it up with Lauren.
Flody apologizes to Lyn but doesn't know why. They get into it again becuase she's mad that he's treating their relationship like an affair.
Iggy is too hard on his students and they end up walking out on him. Gladys gives him advice.
WIlder explains that she has a mentally ill brother living her and he's her prioroty. That's why she's not taking the job.
Max wants to close down the ICU but it's too late.
They have a get together on the roof.
Helen tells Max that she's worried he's not serious about them because he isn't telling people. He makes an anouncement that they're together and leaving New Amsterdam for London.
Everyone is shocked. Karen makes a phone call and asks a mysterious woman to come take over at New Amsterdam.
