Recap

Lauren wakes up at Jenny's and demands to speak to her parents. Jenny reminds her that everyone thinks she's dead. Jenny details Lauren being found after her car was pushed into a reservoir, and a man walking his dog saw and called for help.

Lauren has no recollection of the event, and Jenny reminds her that to keep her and her family safe, she has to stay hidden as Jenny builds her case.

Tariq, Cane, Effie, and Brayden meet at the warehouse and decide to divvy up Noma's product to sell in different areas. Brayden brings up pushing the product at Weston Holdings, but Tariq shuts him down.

Davis brings Zeke's investigation file to Monet and tells her the authorities have no leads but believe the killer was after Mecca and Zeke.

Saxe asks Jenny about the Theo Rollins file, which she has been unable to obtain, and she tells him that she's building a RICO case and she's waiting for Saxe to come through with information.

Tate is visited at his new campaign office by Steven Ott, who tells him his numbers are in the trash and he needs to court younger voters and find a wife.

Brayden sets up another intern at work to get fired when the higher-ups find incendiary content on his computer. Later, he and Keke hook up.

Tariq goes to Tate's office, believing he will be his new intern, but is surprised to learn that BruShandria has taken his spot. Tariq frets about being unable to get course credit for the internship, and Brayden convinces him to intern at Weston Holdings.

Lorenzo tells Cane he won't move Noma's product or any other connects. He then tells Cane to prove his worth by finding Zeke's killer.

Everett invites Dru to his signing party.

Frank's wife, Evelyn, stops by the Terada's house to extend her condolences to Monet and leave her some money.

Brayden tells Effie he wants to tell Tariq about Lauren, but she forbids it.

Cane gets Mecca's pilots, who tell him they saw a bald man the night of Zeke's murder, and the killer's car had a busted tailpipe.

Diana borrows books from Salim, and later, he gets her a job at the on-campus candy shop.

Monet gets pulled over by Whitman, who tells her about the video footage of her car being near Carrie's apartment on the day of her death. He also tells her about Zeke coming to him about Monet's possible involvement in her death.

Tariq sees people doing coke at the Weston Holdings office. And later, at a strip club, Brayden tells Tariq they get their coke from the in-house physical therapist, Nick. Realizing how much product they could push through the company, Tariq agrees to move product through there, and they devise a plan to get rid of Nick.

Dru gets jumped by a GTG member, who gets him back for killing Lil Guap.

Brayden gives Tate money, his payment for taking BruShandria on as an intern and not Tariq.

Blanca tells Jenny that her bosses don't think they have enough for a RICO case. But Whitman comes over and gives them more information about Ramirez and tells them to focus their investigation on Monet.

Cane goes to a GTG spot and grabs the man who jumped Dru.

Everett breaks up with Dru, and after Tariq cannot get ahold of Cane, he calls Dru to get help with Nick. Dru follows Nick from the office and then pushes him into the street, where he's run over by a truck.

Cane brings the GTG member to Lorenzo and Monet as Zeke's killer, and Monet shoots him.

Saxe snoops around Davis's office and finds his burner phone, and dials it to reveal he's been talking to Monet on it.

Cane reveals to Lorenzo that he knows he killed Zeke. He then tells them he owns him now.

Power Book II: Ghost Season 3 Episode 2 Quotes

Tariq: Life is kill or be killed. Same goes for America. Greed is just another word for growth. The bigger you get, the more you have. The more you have, the more you need. It's the law of nature.
Salim: I should point out that's also the philosophy of a cancer cell.

Saxe: Tariq St. Patrick is guilty of a lot of things. But pining an entire drug organization on a nineteen-year-old kid is gonna be a tough sell. Even for you.
Jenny: He's not just any kid. Look at who his parents were. Tariq was groomed for this. You think anyone was surprised Lebron's kid could dunk a basketball?
Saxe: Um, no. And I think that's a little racist.
