Davis gets rid of Mecca’s ring, which eventually goes on auction and is sold to an unsuspecting man. He proposes to his girlfriend but, soon after that, is approached by a woman and some men. The woman chops the other woman’s hand off and takes the ring for herself before the men kill the couple.

Back at Stansfield, Tariq is without housing, as Brayden has been expelled from school.

Monet struggles in the aftermath of Zeke’s death. Davis tells her that she inherited Mecca’s penthouse, which she promptly gives to Cane and Dru.

Brayden starts working at Weston Holdings.

Lorenzo permits Diana to go to Stansfield full-time, where she ends up rooming with Becca in Brayden and Tariq’s old room.

Tate helps Tariq with the Dean, as he doesn’t have on-campus housing due to the rumors.

Cane throws a party at the penthouse as he plots to secure a new connect.

Tariq is approached by Bash and told to get him money, or he’ll go to the cops about what Course Correct.

Tariq and Brayden go to the penthouse, sneaking in the back, to talk to Cane about working together again. The woman with Mecca’s ring and her men raid the penthouse, and she informs them Mecca was her first lieutenant and her fiancé. After killing one of Mecca’s people right in front of them, the guys tell Noma they were working for Mecca, and they can be soldiers for her to move product. She gives them 30 days to move the weight.

Tariq goes to Davis about Noma, knowing she got the ring because Davis hawked it. Saxe sees them talking at the office and becomes suspicious.

Diana, Tariq, and Effie meet Professor Bennet, their teacher for American Psyche.

Cane tells Effie that Tariq is keeping her out of the business.

Davis meets with a doctor about his brother Theo’s illness. With a grim prognosis, there is a clinical trial he could go to, but he will be unable to participate if he’s in jail. Later, Davis tells Saxe to work on Theo’s appeal and find out who is surveilling Mecca’s penthouse.

Jenny and Saxe work together to help take down Lauren’s killers, implicating Davis, Tariq, and the Tejadas.

After a visit from Bash, Brayden approaches Cane about killing him. Cane says he will kill him if Brayden goes with him. But when they arrive at Bach’s apartment, Tariq has just finished killing him.

Blanca tells Jenny that Kevin Whitman has been surveilling the penthouse. Blanca tells Jenny Tariq was in the penthouse the night Mecca died, and Jenny tells her that she has a CI embedded with the whole crew. And she wants to nail the entire group under RICO. They look to get a task force formed.

Effie demands to be brought into moving Noma’s weight.

Tariq speaks at a memorial service at Stansfield put together by Diana.

Monet breaks down at the ceremony and tells Tariq she has to find out who killed Zeke. She asks Tariq to tell her if he finds out anything about Zeke’s death.

Jenny confronts Kevin about surveilling the penthouse and tells him to stop investigating Monet. Later, she goes to a home where it’s revealed that Lauren is alive under police protection.
