Monet reiterates to Mecca the plan to kill Lorenzo and later goes to Cane and convinces him to kill his father.

Tariq calls Lauren but gets no response. At court, Brayden takes the stand instead of Trace and tells them that he was behind Course Correct, which blows Jenny’s case up, and the charges against Tariq are dropped.

Jenny tells Saxe that Lauren is dead.

Monet tells Tariq that she needs his help killing Mecca. She wants Tariq to help Cane come up with a plan to kill Lorenzo, while she plots to kill Mecca first. Tariq agrees as he needs Mecca alive long enough to get his money, and then he wants out of the game.

Monet tells Lorenzo about the plan, and even though Lorenzo wants to kill Mecca, she tells him that it has to be her.

Zeke goes to Whitman and asks him if Carrie’s death was a suicide. He later shows Zeke footage that Monet was in the area of Carrie’s apartment the night of her death.

Ott, Tate, and Sweeney discuss the blackface picture, and eventually, Sweeney agrees to step down from his seat and endorse Tate.

Warren tells Tariq that he now has custody of Yas, and Saxe tells Tariq that Lauren is dead.

Tameka brings Yas to Tasha, who is living off the grid. The two will have new identities and no communication with Tariq, who watches their reunion from a nearby car with Saxe.

Dru replicates Mecca’s bag and gives it to Lorenzo, knowing Mecca’s people are watching them. Cane and Tariq then go to the warehouse where Lorenzo is getting a shipment.

Cane aims at Lorenzo but freezes. Tariq then tells him the real plan is to kill Mecca’s people, which they do.

Vito looks for retaliation against Lorenzo after killing Kino and confronts Dru. Cane saves him, and the two get away.

Diana, tasked with getting Mecca’s actual bag and stashing it on the Stansfield roof for Tariq, tells Lorenzo she saw bank account statements in his bag for the kids.

Tariq comes to the penthouse with the bag as Monet and Mecca wait upstairs. Monet turns a gun on Mecca and shoots him in the head before Tariq arrives.

Lorenzo goes to the hangar intending to kill Mecca and shoots at a man he believes to be Mecca but is instead Zeke.

It’s revealed that Mecca was Blanca’s, and she sees a grainy picture of Tariq in the lobby of the penthouse.

Saxe tells Jenny that he is willing to help Jenny nab Davis and inform on everyone.

Monet returns home to her family, and soon after that, Whitman calls her and tells her that Zeke is dead.
