On Quantico Season 3 Episode 5, the team's latest mission involves tracking down Elizabeth, a professor at Hudson University who stole uranium. They quickly figure out that Elizabeth is acting under duress and that her family has been kidnapped.

Luckily, Elizabeth left behind a clue. She left behind a midterm report for one of her students, Adnan Hamaja. He's one of the people who is forcing Elizabeth to steal the uranium and build a bomb. 

Alex, Mike, and Deep focus on watching Adnan's apartment where Elizabeth and the uranium are being held. Jocelyn, Shelby, and Ryan are trying to locate Elizabeth's family. Owen, Celine, and Harry are undercover at the hotel where the Kashmir summit is being held. The summit is the intended target of the bomb.

Alex attempts to go in undercover to give Elizabeth's captors a faulty neutron initiator for the bomb, but when the real delivery guy shows up with a working initiator, Alex's cover is blown, and Mike comes to the rescue.

Unfortunately, Elizabeth does not want to risk anything that could jeopardize her family's safety, so she pulls a gun on Alex and Mike. Elizabeth makes them take out their comms and informs them that she will be delivering a working bomb, as planned. 

Meanwhile, Ryan, Shelby, and Jocelyn are able to locate and rescue Elizabeth's family. 

When Elizabeth, Adnan, Alex, and Mike show up to exchange the bomb, Alex spots Owen in the crowd. He tips her off right before snipers open fire and everyone is captured. Well, everyone except Adnan and the bomb.

Adnan makes it to the hotel with plans to set off the bomb himself, but Alex neutralizes him.
