Darla tells Ralph Angel she’s there for him as he turns himself into the police for questioning. Charley sends an attorney and pays Ralph Angel’s bail. He is released.

Ralph Angel tells the family he knows the Landrys poisoned his land but doesn’t have proof, and that’s why he stole from them. He recounts Vi saying he wasn’t a man because he sent Blue away to school, and that’s why he didn’t ask her or Charley for help.

Charley shares that Theo has been released from jail. He made one phone call to Sam Landry, and the charges were dropped. Theo helped Sam Landry set up Ralph Angel, and they have video footage of Ralph Angel from that night. Landry will have the charges against Ralph Angel dropped if they give him the farm.

Charley, Nova, and Violet all agree, but Ralph Angel is furious that they’re unwilling to fight. Hollywood reminds Ralph Angel that he’s the one who did this. He chose to steal, and his family is willing to let go of their legacy in exchange for his freedom.

Back home, Nova’s place is completely trashed after the police raid. Charley visits and finds Nova devastated. Charley encourages Nova to not stop fighting and tells Nova that she’s thinking about running for Congress.

Micah purposefully hugs Isaiah when he sees other guys watching. Then Micah gives a presentation for class, and his professor is so impressed that she hits on him once again, but Micah turns her down.

Billie plans to head back to Chicago in about a month. Prosper insists she tell him exactly what happened between her and Jimmy Dale. Billie tells him what he wants to know. She told her mother, but her mother said it was Billie's fault because of the way she acted and dressed, so she never told Prosper. The two makeup, and Prosper asks her if Billie will consider staying in St. Jo’s longer. She says she’ll think about it.

Sam Landry shows up at the farm. He wants to look Ralph Angel in the eye before the lawyers work out their agreement. They will have paperwork saying that Ralph Angel was working for them when he “moved” the merchandise from the warehouse. Ralph Angel and Darla will have 45 days to vacate the farm. Ralph Angel agrees.
