Recap

The previously on segment is all over the map. Wonder where the episode will go.

The Shared Data Bill is now called the Nora Evers Protection Act and will allow select companies access to US government records and consumer data, which is expected to pass with an overwhelming majority in two days, and the president is expected to sign it the same day.

Crowley is watching happily as Arda Analytics is announced as one of the three companies.

When Miles and John were little, Miles says Gilgamesh. It's in two hours. They have to study. Miles saved him from a fight against an asshole.

The team is looking through the briefcase, which is filled with nothing but numbers. John says she used them. There never was any pornography. But why are the numbers worth anything? John is a mess, and he's imagining all of this over and over. Each time there is different information and in one Ben is Crowley saying he wants the data act to pass.

When he lets that slip, everyone else is like WTF?

John returns to his puzzle where Miles is claiming to be. My bet is he says Gilgamesh.

Madi has a giant murder board on her wall, wondering, "what are you up to asshole?"

Hailey is angry that Ben isn't more concerned about John. Ben laughs it off. John thinks he's the cause that ails him. Hailey gets to John's room and sees the chat. He's been lying to you. Who? Ben. Get away. Now.

Miles is walking down the sidewalk.

John is at a local Best Buy type store, putting his USB drive into one of the laptops. Hailey is trying figure out where to look for him.

John gets logged by security who sends the information to Crowley. Crowley says to send the info to the cops.

John gets a call from Hailey, and she records it. She recognizes where he is from the background noise. He's in the store writing a code. Ben Uses Us. He's using a friggin' pen when he should be taking photos of the damn thing with a phone. Sheesh. Meanwhile, a store employee is following him.

John realizes he's been made and ensures he can get out. He's already across the street when the cops roll up. Hailey finds him. Camera work shows how scattered John is an he explains to her how his mind works. She's unsure, and then he gets her on a bus, and he jumps back off.

Miles visits a man with a German accent who says it took him long enough.

Hailey returns home and discovers that Homm has figured out the roadmap of the numbers. It's tons of accounts and names of who Crowley owns in the world, including judges and whatnot. Whoever has this info controls everyone. Hailey wonders who they deliver it to, but they can't deliver it to anyone because they would probably take it right back to Crowley.

Liv receives a package and gets a look on her face.

John is in the confessional. He needs to talk. If he can't talk it out, he gets lost and can't tell the difference between what's real and what isn't. Maybe this time there are too many possibilities. This is the scene from the premiere. He just needs someome to listen. The priest promises to keep it between them and God.

John is really wracking his brain over Miles. He knows he's dead, but what if he isn't dead? Liv calls. The package is from Valence.

Morgan Shaw is doing a podcast on John Weir. He thinks the government doesn't want to find him because once they do, they'll get answers about Homm. Homm and Hailey are watching live, and Homm is being painted as a hero. It's too much, man, Homm says.

While Homm talks about his celebrity, Hailey switches out one of the USB drives on the table and leaves.

Ben is grabbing a bus out of town. The bus station is wired direct to Crowley's computer.

Wash complains to Madi that she's likely hiding Weir's files that he needs. She's got a gift basket with a note to meet someone at 3 pm. It's Hailey. Hailey introduces herself as someone who cares about John Weir, like her. Madi takes offense to that. She then offers the usb drive as proof of John's innocence.

The package contained an artifact from Miles's office. Liv wonders what it means. He says that it wouldn't be sent to him if it didn't mean something.

The man with Miles asks him to put on some gloves before they look through a case.

Madi visits her boss, and just by the way he greets her, it seems that he's being blackmailed by Crowley. Ha! I'm as paranoid as John Weir! She sits a laptop in front of him her boss saying to read it. He won't believe her if he doesn't.

Kyle has accosted John. He's got permission to kill John if he wants. He says John was a pretty good boss and wishes he had paid him more. John says he was a shit intern.

Crowley is sitting on an aluminum chair in the middle of a courtyard. Crowley says Ben wanted the Shared Data Act passed, not him. It was all Ben. Crowley says it was Ben's idea to split apart their company just so he could secretly buy up shares. John launches at Crowley and finds a thing in his ear. Someone's telling him what to say?? It's not Crowley. FFS. Then who was that??

Crowley says it's all Ben and Valence figured it out. All John knows about anything is what Ben told him. John is like, you think I'll believe you over my own father? Crowley goes as far back as childhood. John and his mother didn't deserve any of what happened to him. Ben also blew up the Aerodeli flight. Ben was living right around the corner from John the entire time as Ben Wolf, a psychologist.

Madi's boss says the file is a game changer. She can write the script for the rest of her career with this. What can he give her to forget the file ever existed. She thought he'd never ask.

John gets back to the hideout with Gilgamesh, which is what the rock represents. Ben is gone. John looks under the mattress, and there's a gun there.

Ben returns before John figures it out. He pulls the gun on Ben and shoots him in the head in one scenario. In another, he calls out Ben for being Dr. Wolf. Homm is holding the artifact, and he's going to save the day. John is very angry with Ben, but the artifact has a file that Homm plays. Miles says he thought he had everything figured out, but Crowley has figured it all out and infiltrated his company.

It's a trap Crowley set for him, and Miles is going to ensure that John can get away. He apologizes for what John will have to go through as a result of what he's going to do. He just wishes it was him. He says if he's watching this, then his little fucked up plan worked, and he's ok, Gilgamesh. He must be OK, and that's the thought he's going to take with him.

Miles took the artifact to the guy to send in the event of his death. He died shortly after putting the package in the mail cart.

The messages were from Crowley. Crowley pretended to be Valence. John apologizes to Ben, who understands.

Ben says look at what Crowley did with just Miles's data. Imagine what he'll do with access to everyone's data. They have to stop him now while they still have their free will because that's what they're in danger of losing. Whatever it take, John says.

Rabbit Hole Season 1 Episode 7 Quotes

Hailey: You're not yourself right now. You're paranoid.
John: No. Paranoid is delusional. What I'm dealing with? Not delusional.

Hailey: Really? You accused Ben of saying he wanted the Data Act to pass.
John: I know.
Hailey: He never said that!
John: I know. But in my mind, there's a version of him that did.
Hailey: What?
John: It's how my mind works. It's complicated. If I can't find a rational explanation for what's happening around me, my mind just starts to visualize every other possible scenario until it finds the most logical one. But every now and then, I can't control it. Miles knew how to pull me out. He knew what to say. But he's not here right now, so I'm having a little difficult time knowing what's really real.
