As Max and Tezca face-off, she offers to teach him home to use his powers and introduces him to the blue flame, which she can do now that she has the handprint. Tezca then burns Jones's body.

Max lies to Liz about what happened with Tezca while she works on extracting the alien DNA from Cam.

Isobel travels to Mexico to help Kyle with his investigation.

Dallas and Maria travel to an abandoned church where they search for the symbol Dallas saw in a vision. While there, Dallas remembers being there with Theo as a child and planting seeds. The two then find an Oasian fruit tree, the same tree in the picture Maria found in her mother's wedding album.

Tezca pulls Max into his mindscape and again explains how he's capable of more than he knows. Later, he gives Michael the last octahedron.

Kyle and Isobel extract "Tezca" from the pod and later discover that Eduardo has a daughter named Sonya. They find out Tezca placed Sonya into the pod to steal her body after stealing an essential artifact from the Valenti home.

Michael searches for Eduardo, but Clyde tells him Bonnie took him. The two then set off to find Bonnie, and when Michael finds her, she reveals to him that she wants to stay on Earth. He then vows to protect her.

Liz injects Cam with the serum to extract Tezca's alien DNA, and Cam convinces her to confront Max about his lying.

With Max at the farm, he pulls Tezca into a mindscape, and she teaches him how to conjure the blue flame, which he uses to sever the connection with Tezca. Back at the farm, the two fight until Liz shows up, and Tezca tells them there's a plan for both Max and Liz.

Max loses control of his powers and inadvertently gets Liz impaled with an object and then has to heal her.

Michael gives Clyde the last octahedron and a star map of the Oasis forms when it's placed on the board.

Maria admits to Liz that she no longer has her visions.

Cam leaves town to go back to the FBI.

Dallas visits Michael, and before they get ready to discuss what's been happening, Michael realizes his powers don't work, becomes ill, and passes out.
